LIFE FORCE attended GFIA Africa exhibition 2015 in Durban
LIFE FORCE attended the Global Forum for Innovations in Agriculture (GFIA) 2015 which was held from December 1 to 2, 2015 in Durban (South Africa).
The main focus of the meeting in Durban was the development of sustainable agriculture.
GFIA Africa continued the theme set by GFIA International in Abu Dhabi. Its focus was on sustainable food production. Last year GFIA gathered over 4,500 visitors and exhibitors all over the world.
Since GFIA is widely considered to be the most influential event in the world, the organizers have concluded to hold series of focused regional events to serve communities of innovators and food producers.
Driving innovation for an agricultural revolution – this was the slogan of the first regional GFIA project in Durban.
It focused on technologies that assist in higher yields delivery, conservation of agricultural products at post harvest stage, water management and distribution, animal health and nutrition and the impact of farming on the environment.
GFIA Africa, located at the heart of a major agricultural region (KwaZulu Natal), quickly surpassed the International edition’s position as the world’s biggest dedicated showcase of sustainable agri-based technologies.
Participation in GFIA Africa was one of the strategies of LIFE FORCE which ensured prompt entry to the market of Africa and opportunity to network and to do business with high-level decision makers who are looking for sustainable agriculture solutions.
