Organophilic Lignite Active is used as a diluting agent, deflocculant and stabilizer for all types of water-based drilling fluids.
The reagent is equally effective in muds based on fresh and sea water. It remains effective in salt-saturated, potassium and gypsum systems at up to 200 °C.
Unlike most similar products based on humic acids throughout the world, Organophilic Lignite Premium is characterized by low ash content, increased concentration of high molecular weight humic acids, versatility and processability of application. Organophilic Lignite Active is approximately 2−4 times more effective than conventional lignosulfonate diluting agent (depending on application conditions).

Rates and recommendations
The recommended concentration is 1–15 kg/m3 for all types of drilling fluids either in dry form (directly into the solution) or after the preliminary solubilization in a solution.
The primary treatment of the solution is carried out at the rate of 0.5–3 kg/m3.
